Entering the 2020-2021 season, Iowa State running back Tyler Goodson is partnering with the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. The hospital is one of the leading pediatric care centers in the country and is home to over 170 pediatric physicians and surgeons.
Goodson, running for a 56-yard touchdown this past Sunday against Indiana, is making sure that his contributions to his team and community won’t be limited to the football field. Instead, the Hawkeyes junior is using his platform to raise money for a good cause. From now until the end of September, a portion of all sales coming from Goodson’s merchandise will be donated to UI Children’s Hospital. This money will help the hospital administer much needed care to tens of thousands of children across all 99 Iowa counties.
